The Amount field on the deal level is a locked field — nobody can edit it!
It is a calculated based on the itemized budget, which is created from the budget line items card. We prevent editing on this specific field to keep budgets consistent with the itemized data that feeds our financial reporting.
To change the amount, please add an itemized budget.
